We’ve put a lot into our car parks, like lighting, staffing, and trackways, to make sure everyone parks safely and easily. On busy nights, parking is in high demand, so by reducing the number of cars, more folks can enjoy Luminate on their favourite dates!

We're also big on reducing our environmental footprint, so we hope this charge encourages car-sharing. Plus, sharing the ride means sharing the excitement too!

Blue Badge Holders will be parked in the disabled car park area, as close to the pedestrian entrance to the trail as possible. NB - We can not guarantee a blue badge space but will endeavour to park you as close as possible if the separate blue badge car park is full.

Get ready to indulge in some tasty festive treats and drinks during your visit! We'll share more details soon, but you can count on hot chocolate, tea, coffee, mulled wine, and marshmallows by the fire pit. Feel free to bring your own marshmallows, just remember the skewers!

🚫 No outside alcohol allowed—anyone caught with it will be asked to leave, no refunds.

What provision do you make for guests with mobility restrictions?

The trail has been designed to be as accessible as possible within the natural setting of Coombe Abbey Country Park. The entire route is outdoors and follows established paths. Some sections use loose bark or chippings, which may be difficult to navigate in adverse weather.

Although care has been taken to remove known trip hazards, the trail takes place in a country park, so natural debris such as stones, leaves and twigs may be present. Some parts of the route have cabling across the path, which will be covered with cable ramp covers.

Accessible toilets are available in the Courtyard area and by the Kiosk in the park.

Blue badge holders will be parked in the disabled car park area, as close as possible to the pedestrian entrance to the trail. While a space cannot be guaranteed, the team will do their best to park you as near as possible if the designated area is full.

If extreme weather makes the trail unsuitable for wheeled mobility aids, ticket transfers to a more suitable date may be considered on a case by case basis.

Stewards will be available throughout your visit to assist wherever needed. If you have any further access questions, please email access@luminatecoombe.com.

Can I bring my mobility scooter or can mobility aids be provided?
You are welcome to bring your own mobility scooter. Mobility aids are not available to hire.

All access considerations are the same as detailed above.

To keep everyone safe and make sure you have an incredible time, please stick to the clearly marked trail. We kindly ask that children and vulnerable adults are always closely watched. Since Luminate happens during winter nights at a country estate, areas off the trail might have some hidden hazards. So, please follow the path and listen to our friendly staff for any guidance.

Our team will keep an eye on the trail conditions, but remember, it's a winter evening event in a natural setting. A little extra caution goes a long way. Don't forget to keep an eye on kiddos and vulnerable folks.

Please be aware that there are areas of unfenced water along the trail. We ask all visitors, especially those with children, to take extra care and remain mindful of their surroundings at all times.

Get ready to have fun with our interactive light installations! They're marked and have stewards nearby to help you out. For your safety, please avoid touching other lights or installations, and ensure children and vulnerable adults do the same. Enjoy the magic!
