Terms and Conditions

All bookings for Luminate are made pursuant to the following terms and conditions.

1) Subject strictly to availability it may be possible to transfer your booked ticket to an alternative day/night or venue. Any transfer request must be made at least 10 days prior to your original booked night. Should the night/venue that you wish to book for be a higher price than your original booking, the transfer can only be completed by paying the additional charge. Should you wish to transfer an existing booking, please follow the steps HERE. In the event that the preferred new date /timeslot /venue is full , you will need to either select an alternative date/timeslot/venue or retain your original booking. Refunds are not available.

Bookings are strictly non-transferable within 10 days or less of your booked date.

Bookings are non-refundable under any circumstances.

The only exception to the above is, in the unlikely event that the Organiser has to cancel a night of the trail. In those circumstances customers are referred to our full Cancellation and Refund Policy (CLICK HERE) and will be offered:

a) a transfer of their booking to an alternative night (at the equivalent financial value of their original booking, subject to availability),

b) a transfer to the following year, or

c) a refund, in the event that a) and b) are not suitable.

Any such transfers/refunds must be requested within 28 days of the date of the date you were booked to attend.
Luminate will not be liable for any other costs incurred by customers.
The booking/transaction fee is non-refundable under any circumstances.

2) All visitors agree to adhere to all Health & Safety rules in operation during their visit, which include, but are not limited to:

a) All visitors must remain on the clearly marked trail at all times.

b) All children and vulnerable adults must be closely supervised at all times by their parents/guardians/carers.

c) All visitors must refrain from touching any lights/electrical installations and all children and vulnerable adults must be closely supervised at all times, in order to prevent their doing so.

d) All visitors must adhere to the instructions and advice given by our onsite stewarding staff and on-site signage.

e) Only alcohol purchased from the drinks outlets at Luminate may be consumed on site. No alcohol must be brought to Luminate.

f) All visitors should adhere to any social distancing or other Government guidance in respect of Covid-19 as may be in place at the time of their Visit

3) Any visitors acting in breach of any of the above and/or in any way posing a nuisance/disturbance to our other visitors/staff and/or behaving inappropriately or presenting a risk to the health and safety of themselves/other visitors/staff, will be refused entry or removed from site. No refund of any monies paid will be offered in those circumstances. The Organiser’s decision as to what constitutes a breach/inappropriate behaviour will be final.

4) We remind all visitors that Luminate takes place in the winter, after dark in a country estate setting. All areas other than the clearly defined trail will have potential trip hazards and risks to health and safety, which may be difficult to see during the time that Luminate is operational, so it is essential to stay on the clearly defined trail and to exercise caution during their visit.

5) All visitors must provide a valid email address at the time of booking (and preferably a mobile contact number too), in order that Luminate can contact you to confirm your booking and with any information regarding your booking or the night of your trail. Be aware that our communications may be treated as spam and sent direct to your junk/spam folder, so please check these for communications from us.

6) An order for tickets is not complete until accepted by us. We try to ensure all prices are accurate but errors may occur. If we discover an error in the price of tickets you have ordered we will inform you as soon as possible and we may either cancel the order (in which case you will be refunded the ticket price and any booking, transaction or supplementary fees you have paid) or give you the option of confirming your order at the correct price.

7) On occasions filming and photography may take place at Luminate, including capturing the visitor experience with us. Buying a ticket affirms your consent to the filming and sound recording of yourself as one of our visitors. If you have any objection, should this happen when you attend Luminate, please speak to a member of our onsite team.

8) In rare circumstances, it may be necessary to cancel, change or postpone a night of Luminate. In such circumstances, you will be contacted via the email address provided on booking (and via SMS message, if a valid mobile number was provided on booking). Please ensure that you check your email (including your Spam/Junk folder) for all such communications. We also advise that you check the customer service section of our website prior to travelling to Luminate as any changes/notifications will also be posted here.

9) Luminate accepts no responsibility for loss or damage of any kind suffered at or in connection with Luminate to any property, including loss, damage, or theft of any personal property.

10) Admission to Luminate is at all times subject to any terms, conditions or rules of Luminate and our venue partners. If you breach those terms, conditions or rules Luminate may refuse admission or require you and/or other ticket holders to leave the venue.

11) Before you finalise your booking, please read all the information that applies to Luminate. If you or any member of your party has particular requirements please raise these prior to booking and we will endeavour to address your query. There can be no guarantee that requirements can be met if notified at the event.

Privacy Policy

This privacy notice discloses the privacy practices for Luminate. This privacy notice applies solely to information collected by this website. It will notify you of the following:

What personally identifiable information is collected from you through the website, how it is used and with whom it may be shared.
What choices are available to you regarding the use of your data.
The security procedures in place to protect the misuse of your information.
How you can correct any inaccuracies in the information.

Information Collection, Use, and Sharing

We are the sole owners of the information collected on this site. We only have access to/collect information that you voluntarily give us via newsletter signups, email or other direct contact from you. We will not sell or rent this information to anyone.

We will use your information to respond to you, regarding the reason you contacted us. We will not share your information with any third party outside of our organization, other than as necessary to fulfil your request, e.g. to send tickets.

Unless you ask us not to, we may contact you via email in the future to tell you about specials, new products or services, or changes to this privacy policy. If you don’t want us to you can email us to tell us and we will take you off the mailing list or you can simply unsubscribe by clicking the link on any emails you receive.

Security

We take precautions to protect your information. When you submit sensitive information via the website, your information is protected both online and offline.

Wherever we collect sensitive information (such as credit card data), that information is encrypted and transmitted to us in a secure way. You can verify this by looking for a lock icon in the address bar and looking for “https” at the beginning of the address of the Web page.

While we use encryption to protect sensitive information transmitted online, we also protect your information offline. Only employees who need the information to perform a specific job (for example, resending lost tickets) are granted access to personally identifiable information. The computers/servers in which we store personally identifiable information are kept in a secure environment.

E-Newsletters

In order to receive our e-newsletter you must sign up at a venue and also click to agree to join the mailing list, or join up online via our website. During registration a user is required to give certain information (such as name and email address). This information is used to contact you about the products/services on our site in which you have expressed interest. At your option, you may also provide demographic information (such as gender or age) about yourself, but it is not required.

Orders/Tickets

We request information from you on our order form. To buy tickets from us, you must provide contact information (like name and address) and financial information (like credit card number, expiration date). This information is used for billing purposes and to fill your orders. If we have trouble processing an order we may use this information to contact you.
